Reviewers are being sent copies of The Secret Of Ka and some of those reviews have started popping up online. The tone appears unanimously positive – The Secret Of Ka comes out this September.

“The story is fun and interesting with so many twists that it keeps you guessing the whole story. It was such a page turner I didn’t even realize when I was at the end, I turned the page and it was blank. I am pretty sure this is going to be the first of a series, I can’t wait to read the next book even though it will be a while because this one isn’t even for sale yet. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes YA fantasy. Don’t judge the book by whats written on the back it’s so much better than it sounds, I don’t think this book will disappoint very many people at all!” – SOURCE

“With it’s great characters, unique and action-packed plot, and unique and brilliant writing style, The Secret of Ka is a book that I definitely recommend for readers small and tall. I can’t wait to see where Pike takes the story in future books, assuming there are any. He definitely left it open for there to be sequels. ” – SOURCE

“I have always been a Pike fan but this is probably my favorite book of his to date! As a writer he goes where no other writer goes, alternate universes which he has a way of bringing back with him and making it all sound possible. Pike is re-establishing his place as a favorite author of mine. This may be young adult but all ages will enjoy!” – AMAZON

“I like to read adult and young adult/juvenile fiction urban fantasy and paranormal type books. However, the description of The Secret of Ka normally would not have jumped out and caught my attention. Not sure I would have read it, except I saw that it was written by Christopher Pike, so I took a chance. I am SO glad I decided to read it. The book has djinns, a magic carpet, family difficulties, romance, action, plot twists, and much more. ” – AMAZON

I can’t wait to read this. I don’t like to have to wait another month but I have so many Pike books I can re-read some to pass the time.
